  1. I can see it now.... Double L's first driving gig...
  2. Put a good seat in there...doesn't even have to be expensive, just have a good quality dampening system. My seat doesn't bounce at all...whether it's aired all of the way up or only part way aired up. I set the ride height where I want it, and the seat stays put. I posted a link to my seat somewhere yesterday....
  3. LOL...better go to work for swift, schneider, jb hunt, etc...at least then people understand when ya take forever & a day to back into a dock or a parking spot. I learned how to back a trailer as soon as I could reach the pedals on grandpa's lawn tractor...these days, I'm backing off the highway at full throttle in the high split of reverse...if it would go faster, I'd go faster. Just remember, you ain't driving a truck PULLING a trailer...you are driving the trailer, and the truck is just the steering mechanism.
  4. Boxes of shells are ALWAYS welcome... 30-06 45 ACP 12 gauge Anything else and I'll need to buy another gun....which wouldn't REALLY be all that bad, either... I like these for the shotgun: They are a .65 caliber round ball, with 6 #1 bucks (.30 caliber) chasing it out the barrel @ 1300 fps. Unless I'm shootin' clays, that's what is in the shotgun. I like to find the ammunition I would LEAST like to get shot with, and keep any "defensive" weapons loaded to the hilt with it. The smileys are either found on the interweb (there are sites with nothing BUT smileys) or from other message boards....
  5. Here's how I cook those...I've got several methods: 1) I ask mom to make me one if she asks what I want for dinner when I'm in town. 2) I ask my woman to make me one when she's in town. 3) If I'm not at mom's and my woman ain't here, I go to town, sit down at a table in a restaurant, and ask the waitress to bring me one. I learned a LONG time ago I just don't belong in a kitchen.
  6. OK...time for bed. 108 posts in a day has got to be some kind of record...
  7. only if I hated ya...which I don't...so BTW....this makes post #500 for me on this board....and #106 on the day. Let's see if I'm "pedigreed" yet.... Today's Top Posters 1. Photo RowdyRebel Icon (105) 2. Photo Double L Icon (74) 3. Photo Gambi80 Icon (69) 4. Photo other dog Icon (24)

  11. 'specially with the current bunch running things
  12. I've saved many a dollar over the years hacking my own hair off...then I just put on a ball cap and nobody can tell how bad a hack job I did.
  13. Dang...my Mack has 4.17 rears with 44" tires (11R24.5) grossing over 80,000...walks up just about anything I can get traction on
  14. yup. can't be sane if'n ya actually LIKE them freightshakers....unless you are the pencil pushin' accountant type and don't ever have to DRIVE the thing...cheap, light weight, and not bad if'n ya plan on it bein' junk in a few years...so as long as ya trade it off to some sucker before it is junk, you're aight...but they ain't like a Mack where you can keep on workin' 'em day after day, year after year, and they just keep on doin' whatcha need 'em to....
