It shows he last visited Nov. 7. I searched the obituaries and didn't find anything. Maybe he is a Volvo enthusiast now.

You can buff them out with one of those kits you buy, but lots of people don't follow the directions and don't have good results. They will fog up within a year or two. Go ahead and buy replacement lenses and they will last another 20 years. Every truck, car, and pickup has this problem.

The ch is a rock solid truck. It's most likely a 3.65 ratio rather than 3.55 if it has mack rears, witch is just a little steep for soft ground. As for the 06 I don't have any personal experience with that year, but I would proceed with caution.

My beloved uncle who could wreck an anvil in a sandbox was driving the superliner and said he heard a noise. I got in it and he'll you didn't even need the parking brake to hold it still. I knew this rear end wasn't healthy because of the amount of metal I drained out of it. It still makes me wonder if his foot slipped off the clutch pedal.

Looking good, at least you have the proper equipment. All that dynamat is really going to make a nice difference.

I have the exact same issue with our superliner, I would wiggle the wires going through the head and then it would work, but not anymore. So now I'm wondering if the solenoids are bad.

Thanks, FWD I will pass that along, I'm not the one calling on the part. The mechanic who is working on the truck is. He has been in contact with Hale before about this truck two years ago when he rebuilt the pump. He also talked to a pump supplier that had 4 used Hale pumps and all 4 had this part robbed off of them. The machine shop in town said they could build it, and even contacted Hale about getting the drawing specs, and Hale refused to release them.

Did they provide a part number?
Yes they did. It sounds like they are talking to a machine shop about getting one made.

Yes, they say it's obsolete.

A friend of mine once said, "you can't own them all at once, but you can own them all one at a time."

It is a Maxim body, I was told it came out of Panama City Florida, there is a sticker on the front bumper that says Panama fire apparatus.

I would swap in a set of 4.17' s 3.87 is just to long legged for that horsepower.

That graffiti artist needs to work on shading in his age lines and wrinkles, and yes gravity too.

A politician not honoring their word? What else is next?

I think the mold is just wearing out. Still a great looking truck.

Wasn't Staxx's race truck "Mackvader" a UPS survivor?
