The truck is sold. I think it went to Michigan.

I always thought it would be cool to own a C-model and it happened today. A friend of mine decided to sell his dad's old truck. They used it to haul grain to Duluth, MN back in the day, then it was converted into a motorhome. It now has a 237 with a triplex. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but the price was right.

What year did Mack switch from the long ear bulldog to the short ear dog?

Make sure the bleed line between the radiator and the expansion tank is not plugged.

We had a v-8 Deutz in a combine years ago, it was very fuel efficient.

23 Years ago I saw a hot rod Peterbilt for sale with a Mack 18 speed in it. The owner said it was the only transmission he found that would put up with the torque.

It has been sold.

I finally got my hands on the 2020 Mack calendar and I got to say it's very disappointing. Looking at garbage trucks that are totally utilitarian doesn't do anything for me. The vintage month is poorly done as well, talking about a company's B model but not even showing it? So why doesn't someone on here organize something better? Maybe Watt's could sponsor it? Just throwing it out there.

Anyone ever know if they put a 3408 in a superliner? I was talking to a guy who said he had seen one once. I assumed he had mistaken it for an E-9.

I'm replacing the front cover on our 88 R model, and the original cover had a gasket. My parts man says I should use silicone or expect leaks. Any thoughts?

I absolutely loved my '94 ch when I drove OTR, 427 t-2090 4:17 on air. It was a way better truck than the fld 120 with a 60 series I had been running.

It measures 246" from center of the front axle to the center of the back axle. It has been stretched 25" and could easily be put back to the original length. It is a single frame except where it was gloved in the rear. The thickness is a 1/4", has round housings with no carriers. I would like to keep the fuel tanks. Asking 1200.00 located in Wheatland Nd. 701-730-4577 Mark

I have a '78 rs712 long frame with neway air ride if your interested Quickfarms.

I would also like to upgrade my superliner to an E-7, just having a little trouble finding a donor motor. A mechanical engine would be easy, but might consider a 427, but I would rather not mess with all that wiring.

Thanks guys!

Is an e-6 thermostat the same as an e-7?

A few of our 5th wheels have some slack in them, one a Holland the other a Fontaine. I have tried adjusting them with very little improvement. The local parts house suggests replacing with a Jost. I was wondering what your guy's thoughts about rebuilding them were.
