Would it be worth asking the scrap company to let you know when the next me come through and see if you could buy some parts from them?
I don't think they would be opposed to the extra few dollars.
They have a strict policy that once it comes in it doesn't leave, but I did notice one day a pile of aluminum intakes and carburetors, I asked one of the guys about it and he said,"it looks like someone is waiting for the boss to be gone."

I hauled a load of scrap into West Fargo yesterday and while they were unloading me I spotted some UPS vehicles in the yard. There was two cube vans they were destroying with a giant claw, while this was amusing, I wanted to cry when they moved the last one and I saw a decent looking Mack ch. It had a flawless hood, nice cab, grille, clear headlights, bumper, and fuel tanks. With one guy taking a video on his phone the other guy ripped into the truck mercilessly. I went to weigh out, there was a UPS rep in the scale room watching all of this. I told the guy "I could have used a lot of parts off that truck" but he gave me the standard b.s. answer of how they never sell trucks because of liabilities or people impersonating them. What a waste of good stuff, I'm sure that truck got everything it needed right up to the day it was pulled out of service.

I have always been a Chevy guy, but Ford should have a rebuttal ad that shows what a rust bucket the Chevy will look like in 10 years!

Everything sounds good at an idle, I put my ear up to the air filter, and can not hear any abnormalities.

Ethanol subsides have been gone for a while now. And yes you get worse mileage with ethanol tha straight gas.

I have a 94 ch with an e-7 427, it seems to pull good but has an audible studder in manifold pressure under light acceleration. I installed a boost pressure gauge, it seems to be steady, with boost press. Past 30. Wondering, do I have a bad valve, or an injector over fueling.

Did you try Manders diesel 1-800-469-1801? Or I think the junkyard at Erhard, Mn was parting out a superliner.

It was on there about 2 weeks ago, but it looks as if someone snatched it up.

Not sure which turns me on more, a women that looks like that, or one that can clean.

Check out the one on trucker.com in Maine.

I've got that suspension on a '69 r-model straight truck it rides fairly well empty, and extremely stable loaded.

This is like picking witch of your kids are your favorite, but I guess it would have to be the B model.

One thing about bmt's site I have always appreciated is the way it is/was setup. Other chat sites are not nearly as easy or fun to cruise.

I've got some family members that tend to load trucks like that.

This one has been for sale a little while, it looks great, but does it say "thermodyne" on the hood?

First order of business is to pay off the EPA, then bring back 237, DM's and once again Mack will own vocational market. Yeah probably would not hurt to bring back R and U
Actually a better thought. Paying off EPA just MIGHT get someone in trouble. Better plan would be same strategy as when you get caught violating an environmental rule-like filling a wet land. You have to replicate or make an improvement someplace else. SOOO- you donate to the Obama Library fund-done deal.
One of the new models could be called the "Barrack Way"!

What was the relationship between Mack and Scania? I know the r-400 was available with a scania engine, but did it go further into research and development?

Used by geologist to survey soil types.

They look good, how long did it take to do a wheel? I had a set done on an automated polisher, they looked great, but I wasn't crazy about the way the holes in the wheels kinda got "streaked" over.

Thank you, the guy driving the truck is now getting used to the truck's personality and all it's features.

I know this has been talked about before, but I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the traction control on a '12 pinnacle with the M-drive? The truck has Rockwell rear with disc brakes and when it engages throws the truck sideways on ice. Thanks in advance.
