  1. My 1987, V-8, pushing 600 HP, 12 spd. Also just bought a 1988 superliner tractor to restore with a 3200 gallon water tank for filling swimming pools, pictures will soon be added of the 88.
  2. That would be me, but I already found one, Thanks anyway.
  3. I have camelback on my dumps and have very little problem off road compared to my tractor with air ride. I use the tractor with a dump trailer for hauling stumps and when I get off road, you have to be carefull where you go. It works great on the blacktop when I haul water for swimming pools, and it rides better but seems to have less axle travel witch leads to getting stuck more. Camelback is the way to go for dump trucks, hands down.
  4. Well today my neighbor sold his 1945 fire engine. He bought it several years ago and fixed it up enough to drive in parade's. A guy from New Jersey bought it and plans on restoring it. He said only about 125 or so were made. I would think that would make it rare. I wish him luck with it. It would by nice to see pictures as he goes and when it is finished.
  5. Well if I bought it, I would have to split it in half. Just remember she gets the better half. I could make one of those trailers into a nice 1 room apartment! LOL
  6. I did that and when I tested the post preview, the site came up and said the link could not be found. I hate computers.
  7. That's the one. I use to be able to insert the site to visit at one time but I can't seam to get it to work, go figure. As soon as I get all the answers, they change the questions!
  8. I tried just about everything but I guess not the right thing. I could not get it to open the site when I put it through the test.
  9. Tons of old Mack trucks and parts for sale on EBAY. Sorry I could not get the link to post, so you will have to look it up. Trucks and parts are located in NJ. This would be perfect for someone with some dead presidents laying around and lots of free time, (that would be me when they come out with the 8 day week, LOL)
  10. How do I add a web site address to a post? The one where you just " click here " to get to the item or site to be viewed. Thanks, Mike
  11. The cooler you need, is it in front of the radiator or under the hood over top of the valve covers? I don't think they make a inner cooler for E-7's. If it is in front, them it is a after cooler.
  12. If your looking for an inner cooler, part number 314GB41C, there is a new one on EBAY MOTORS.
  13. He said the part is no longer available. I do not know if it is the part number you gave, I will check. thanks
  14. A friend put a jake on a motor with a tip-turbine. He needs the air tube that goes on the turbine to clear the valve cover because of the spacer under the valve cover. If anyone has one that they will part with, please let me know. The air tube is about 6 inches round.
  15. To the best of my knowledge no one makes a jake for the e-9's. Your stuck with a dynatard. You gotta love the locomotive sound of a V-8!!!!!!!!!!
  16. There are no spacers on my 500 V-8. Caps go right up to the block. I do not know if the older V-8's are the same.
