  1. I know it, I really liked it. And all the brakes were new front to back, including the brake lines, and all the wheel cylinders were rebuilt by a place up near Winchester or Berryville and had a lifetime guarantee. It was nice. But we did buy a new 10x12 wooden shed with a loft area, white with a green metal roof to match the house. It'll be delivered in a week or two, they just have to paint it. It was around $2,900.
  2. Here's a girl in a car, from the interweb.
  3. It doesn't, the tires have good tread but as far as I know they're the original tires so they're 60 years old!
  4. Me and Zina from Florida were going to buy this truck. Had a 345 in it with only 5,000 miles on it, 5 speed, 2 speed rear, about all it needed was paint and tires and the driver's side floor had some rust in it. We had already decided that we were not going to keep the patina, we wanted shiny red paint with the bumper, step, and frame shiny black. We were serious too, I sent the guy a $500 deposit back in September and he still hasn't gotten the title to it. So we talked about it, and I called him today and told him it was just taking too long, I'd be better off buying a shed with what I was going to spend for that truck. And Zina from Florida said we need a new couch and chair for the living room, so there's that. Nice truck though, I was really looking forward to getting it.
  5. The main thing I like about being in the ATHS is getting the magazine.
  6. I saw this in Daytona too. I have a lot more pictures on my camera, I just took a few with my phone. We went to the big car show in Daytona Saturday, it was so big we didn't see half the cars. They had beer stands too, but a $6 a beer I couldn't get too carried away. A beer is $2 at bike week.
  7. Yeah, me either.
  8. I'm kind of the same way, I don't know what to think of it either. There is a lot of work in it, and some very creative stuff there- but on the other hand, it still looks like junk.🤣
  9. I saw this in Daytona.
  10. I did too, I missed all that- maybe a good thing that I did!
  11. Back in the ol' computer for a few minutes, Zina from Florida is still using it for work purposes so I don't get on it very much or very often. I'll see if I have any new pictures... My little monitor is in the back, all the other stuff is hers, plus she has her laptop connected to all this stuff too. Here's a girl in a car. Here's a B model dump truck. Here's another girl in another car. Here's another girl in another car with a funny little dog waving at me.
  12. probably!
  13. This was around 1980-81, not sure cameras had been invented then.
  14. I have some of them, but not all.
  15. I agree.
  16. Yeah!..what they said.
  17. You're most welcome.
  18. I would put Zina from Florida's name on the driver's door of this unit.
  19. We're seriously considering buying this little jewel. Pretty much all it needs is tires and paint. Tires have lots of tread, but they are the original tires- and it's a 1960 model. It has a 345 with only 5,000 miles on it.
  20. Thank you. Yep, that's one of 58FWD's favorites. He likes to pretend he hates it though.
  21. Yes, I know. I know some people that were at a show in Pa. that would have been in Winchester if they weren't, and I'm sure some were in Winchester that would have been in Pa. I mean it's good, but it looks like they would try to not have shows so close on the same day. And you're welcome for the pictures, I do like taking pictures!
  22. No, I kept hoping he would start it, be he never did. It drew a big crowd as soon as he rolled in with it, and somebody pointed out that there was no battery in the pony motor, so we didn't figure he would.
  23. Here's all the pictures I took...well, most of them anyway. https://www.flickr.com/photos/28526133@N04/albums/72157716150541671/with/50391034671/?fbclid=IwAR0lbhWYjVudbgNB7pwcELkiKyWbX6P9mW-hWdQ8Xkm0CKtXBw43cUkh3sg
