The paint is in real nice shape on it. Could use a wax job. Lots of lines need replacing because of sitting. I think the only reason it was parked was the owner retired. He's turning 89 this fall

If your looking to sell Mack's or any other truck for that matter post it in the trucks for sale column here. Were all partial to Mack's and would like the chance to buy them as opposed to them being shipped outta country

Can't help you on turbo swap but interested to know what you had done to turn pump up.

You have quite a ambitious project ahead of you but by pics it looks solid. Axle shafts may have been removed if it was towed instead of pulling driveshaft. Good luck and ask as many questions as you need. Don't feel dumb asking it's great your interested in old Mack's just like the rest of us here.

I remember when it was the unwritten rule to drive slowly through the parking lot too

Thanks bbigrig he never did see me again about truck so I put it back to work again. So far I'm glad I kept it. Its a good running truck the crew at Mack must have been having a good day when they built it.

Drove a tandem paystar dump truck one winter with a Detroit. What a brute of a truck. They were definitely built to work. Interesting seeing one with a tilt hood I think I've only seen butterfly hoods
