Not familiar with mp8 but on any mechanical engine you would not have to

Good looking set up. Basically if your mechanically inclined keep your truck serviced regularly and take a good look at things and fix them before they break. Example rubbing airlines or electric connections. Also if your driving yourself you can listen for strange noises or vibrations and fix them before they break. Good luck

Glad the show was able to happen. Pics are great but seeing as I'm north of the border we couldn't make it this year. Hopefully next year we'll be back

I think your looking for aluminum rims. You'll have to change studs they are different from steel to aluminum but they are available

Hard to believe high school kids drove buses at one time. Wouldn't happen today

Looks like lots of custom work went into it. What engine is in it?

My daughter and I went a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Been planning on coming back but definitely not this year as the border is closed. Hopefully next year

I'll check centramax filter. If it's the oil pump do they just get noisy or should I replace it?

I changed oil a couple months ago and the noise started recently. What do I check on centramax filter. Thanks for reply as well

Yes I did. I also held broom handle against them with belt on. No strange noises there

I have a 2000 CH with E7 350. On Sat I noticed a strange noise while idling. Kinda sounds like a pump when it's low on oil. I've checked fluid levels pulled fan belt of and ran truck. Engaged and disengage clutch no difference. Held high tech broom handle against engine trying to trace and nothing. Any help would be appreciated

I've done similar tests unhooking fan belt. Put broom handle against areas on engine engaged clutch no change Nothing seems to sound odd. Truck operates fine just has a strange noise

Has anyone come to a conclusion on this issue? I'm hearing a similar noise on my 2000 E7 350
