Welcome aboard I'm thinking if you have no air leaks it's possibly your compressor. Did you try adjusting the new air governor? Its possible it's set to low. Did your brakes not automatically engage when your air pressure dropped? Btw cool looking old White

Good looking truck Mike and great deal on trucking there 👍

I'm going to research when engine was built I think that's the key. Thanks for replies so far

I looked on valve cover it says 2000 engine. This is what confuses me because I would also assume it was built pre 2000

This is possibly a Canadian road rules question I'm not sure if same rules as U.S. I have a guy interested in my 2000 CH but he doesn't want it if he has to install elog. He would be crossing border to U.S. The truck was built in January 2000 I'm trying to decifer rules but I'm not a lawyer so I'm confused on the issue. So far here's what I've found hopefully someone can help

Be careful with plunger not sure how far you have it apart but on R model there are bolts to hold pedal mount to floor and other bolts to hold valve to base

Mack prices for exhaust are inflated. Your better off to go to a truck exhaust place and they can custom build whatever you need

From the pics I'd say thats a 2 valve. If it runs good it's a keeper

Ever want to get rid of wife I'll trade plus $$ any woman that will power wash a truck is for me, she have a sister ??
That impressed me as much as the truck as well

Have the same problem here. I saw a real sharp superliner pulling a dump trailer a few times on QEW around Oakville. A friend of mine has spotted it too but neither of us can get a pic of it

I believe he decided to keep it. You'd be better to call the number he posted. He hasn't been on here in over a year

That looks like it was driven to its resting spot a long time ago. What engine is in it? I'm not sure about your jack I'm sure they'll be a lock somewhere though. If you send a pic of the aluminum base for the brake pedal I'll see if it's same as a r model I probably have one. Your air valve that operates your brakes could possibly be what's seized as well. What's your plans for truck?

That's a good combo in a Mack in my opinion anyway. I've seen lots of 350s pull right along side with 425s. Is it possible you need a tuneup possible top end set or do you have boost leak. Could be easier than a engine swap

I remember when they had cabovers set up like that. Used to see them anytime I headed up north. They were so big compared to anything else on road

Thank you. I want to eventually put 2 more gauges in place of the gauge hole covers, I'm thinking a factory manifold pressure gauge and maybe transmission temperature. I'm still doing some research to see all the available gauge types on all r series (r, rd, rw, dm, etc.) variants and choose from there. I wish I could get a factory woodgrain dash panel blank and cut out as many holes for gauges I want and fill it up with gauges like an RW but more lol
I have some gauges new and used when you figure out what extra gauges you want to install

Looks like it was well cared for

I had same problem. I tapped range selector air valve with a hammer and it worked. Not sure since you changed valve if your issue is the same.
