Someone here can decode that I cannot but if you call a Mack dealer the parts guy can tell you what you have. Also it's not a 95 R model they didn't make them that late. Probably a RB or RD

Yup there's your frame spread I've seen worse but unfortunately it doesn't go away it just gets worse. I'd show that to whoever you plan on getting a safety from and get there opinion. 10 hours is quite a journey any reason why your going that far I'm sure you could find something alot closer

Crawl underneath and look at edges of frame where it's double framed or any place where it's bolted together like crossmembers. It's a older truck and being from rust belt there's no doubt there's some rust jacking. There are limits to how much spread in frame for safeties so you'll want to check this out.

The frame will spread where it is double framed. Its called rust jacking.

Looking for two decent, not cracked or repaired R-RW dash bezels in silver/grey color.
I need the bezel that holds the tach and speedo. Part # 8MT519
and the top dash that holds the ash tray # 370R5114.
If anyone has any laying around that need a good home, please let me know condition and what you want for them.
Thanks...
I have a speedo/tach brand new in tan color I'm not sure if there paintable. I'll look around I might have one in grey but I came across this one first

You probably will have to replace it but you can try to lube it up with some penetrating oil and try to get it to move.

Good looking truck probably worth the $ if you had a job to work with it or had a extra $35k for a toy

Glad to hear the you all recovered from the China virus. Also glad to see kids being kids having fun and learning something constructive

For the longest time everything here seemed to have spokes. The odd truck would have bud wheels on the steer axle. There were trucks with bud wheels all around but not that common. I'm talking 25-30 years ago. Almost everything has bud wheels now

Okay. Thanks, Mark. Those open spokes sure look great and it would be great if I could come up with something for my R. But I suppose I’d really need the rears as well.
You want spokes for rears too? Are yours 44 Mack rears? I have them

Let’s see if I have this right ~
Dayton six spoke hub attaches to the brake drum with six nuts. Rim attaches to the hub with six clamps. I need:2 rims for 425’s
12 clamps & nuts
2 six spoke hubs
2 hub covers
2 brake drums
Is that about it?
I think that covers it plus a couple wheel seals

Alex,
What are you doing/going to do with that truck? That looks like an RB hood on a DM cab? Setback axle(angled headlamps)? Is she a runner?
She's all DM
-
Yes she runs I'm keeping engine out of it. The rest is up for grabs

If you have both vin's I'll have to get mine a good Mack dealer will be able to tell if there compatible
-
I'll get you the vin # you can find out that way
-
I'll try to get a pic this week. It's at the farm not my house. Do you want complete front axle or just the hubs?
-
You've come to the right place for parts and advice. You should have no problem finding parts for a 99 and depending on how it was taken care of it'll go a million or better

Btw good looking RS

Greetings Thermodog. I think I have what your looking for on a 87 DM I would sell but depending on where your located the shipping would probably be too expensive. I'm in Ontario Canada.

Camper would be cool but be hard to travel any distance with original running gear. I used to take the kids for icecream in my 58 Brockway. Either way you'll have fun
