  1. Such a horrible thing to do with any part or parts of a Mack. There are thousands of cookie cutter Peter-things out there, let them be chopped and what not. Ap40
  2. Very Nice, I have worked with them back in 08 on crane moves around Dexter Minn & Carroll IA. Great bunch, never knew about the Mack's. We only saw the big KW W-900L with 4 axles at the rear! Any shots of the classic up on the hill in the 1st photo? Ap40
  3. I fully agree with not ruining a antique for the sake of that. I am in line to go out & kick his nut sack into the next state. If he really had to "Do" a fire truck, why not something other than a Mack... Sorry i am, have been & always will be a purist. keep it stock, big hot-wheel toy wheels are stupid, 8" diameter floppy top pipes are worse. it is this kind of thinking that has trashed the ATHS with there artsy fartsy interpretation of what was a great organization. And they publish that lovely annual show book with more & more "special interest" vehicles.....WTF is so special about a brand new Peterbilt & a golf cart...... OK sorry, rant off. Ap40rocktruck

  5. Hello everyone, I reside north of Syracuse NY, and work in East Syracuse, where I am the service Manager for Beam Mack Sales & Service. We are a dual dealership Mack & Volvo, and are one of 4 branches, where Rochester NY being the corporate office. My last truck was a 1955 LJ2DX, and although i no longer have it, it is still with me. I am i machinist / Industrial Model maker by trade, but with so many advances in technologies that eliminate the use of humans, so was my path in 2001. Since then back to the roots of diesel mechanic, crane erector, equipment superintendent for a national crane & rigging company, and finally landing here at a Mack dealership. Great forum, i see many old friends & acquaintances, look to meet many more. Hope to see many of you on the east coast show circuit. Very Kind Regards, Richard C. Mark aka: Ap40rocktruck
  6. In NO way is this or any other images in the album of "toy trucks" a TOY. I scratch built each & every one in this album, and all of museum quality, thus are not a TOY. ap40rocktruck
