Well he was elected and those that believed him want their "red meat", that didn't exist, and now he wants them to forget everything he claimed and move on. That is the problem when you live (and get elected) by conspiracy theories, you can't just walk away from them when they served you purpose, and tell people to move on. Trump can't admit he was wrong (about anything) and can't stop what he started without those that believed him feeling duped (they were). So he has a problem of his own making that he can't resolve. "Hoisted on his own petard" is the term. The only 'Hoax" is all these rich people who partied and traveled with him could always be able to "look the other way" and "no nothing about the girls". People on both side of the political spectrum, and it would take only one to speak out and put and end to it, but some how always managed to be looking the other way. Guilt by silence.
