One no return call after a promise to and Watts didn't seem overly promising which surprised me being B model savvy . It was a maybe somewhere possibly sort of nonchalant. Have you looked at the crank to see if there are cut numbers stamped in the counter weights? They should have a part number on them and should be marked, Standard, or .010,.020 or something like that and like Joey mentioned if the crank has been turned down it should be stamped with the amount it was turned down to. There’s a bunch of them still running . Having a ground crank after chasing std bearings leaves you out money and time. Same goes for machine work, if the crank or bores (on a non lined engine) will clean up at 1st undersize but all you can find is .040, cutting to .010 will be a waste of money. See what you have, then see what you can get, and go from there. The way I read the note, that number is correct for his engine if built after 1960 or other engines built after 1962, and he need only measure the width of the current bearings to be sure.
