Our 1948 Type 505 fire engine is mostly a parade vehicle, but we do drive it around town to various charity events. We don’t need speed, but improved drivability would be a big help for us. So it is up to you how much work you are willing to put in for the swap. Both drivers on our insurance know how to double clutch.
