NAPA had them for my Mack 10 years ago , tip go to the oldest counter guy. Also you may want to change over to Petronics  ,no points needed ,Petronics is electronic ,have to order if you have positive ground battery connections

My Napa ProLink doesn't have any listings for Mack gas engines, will have to call & see if they can find them.

Someone mentioned it may be the same distributor as an old Chevy 6 cylinder from that era

Are you just needing the points and condenser numbers or the electric ignition parts? I just swapped the ignitions over in our 707b. I’m guessing they’d be the same. I’ve got new points and condensers that came with the truck but swapped anyway.

We just did both points and condensers on ours but are planning on doing one electronic and just select  that ignition. I assume you have a fire truck, with (L-R-Both)  ignition switch. Life will be simpler electronic …Jack

I am not a fan of "all under the cap" electronic ign. May be it was 'early days" but many had trouble with them failing.

I am working on fitting a Chry reluctor to a Delco dist. If I ever get the project done (I'll post here, but don't hold your breath) then any remote control ign box could be used.

For a "hobby/show"vehicle that doesn't see many hrs on the engine, points will last a long, long time.

I don't know how they do it on your engine, but a lot of duel ign engines are designed to be run on both, all the time. They will run on one, but with reduced power.  They are "starting the fire" at opposite sides of the cyl, and when you only burn from one side, power is lost and economy goes to hell.

I have a duel ign Buda.

Ours we were told is a redundant system as is the electric fuel pump and mechanical fuel pump that were on build sheet , mechanical Pump was not there but piping from tank was when we got the truck. Our ignition switch gives you the choice we have ran it on each separately and with both on and did not see a big difference but this was not on the highway trying to get to our 2600 rpm. ….Jack

I think we will have to play with the one or two distributors once we can get out on highway and see. Geoff your point seems valid to me, our engine is rated to 2700 RPM but Boston requested on build sheet to set it to 2100 RPM, perhaps getting to that max horsepower needs both….Jack
