CDJ Posted September 22, 2023 Share Posted September 22, 2023 Does anyone know where to get push to lock assortment used on fuel line connections at ECM and at fuel filter base on 2018 MP7. I would like to make up my own test hoses'. I would like to check fuel pressure and see if there is air in the return line back to tank. Ticks me off that mack doesn't use the low pressure sensor on the newer engines, just the aftertreatment fuel pressure. Actually the sensor is there on some, but nothing on the engine harness. Mackpro Posted September 29, 2023 Share Posted September 29, 2023 Amazon has a large variety of the fittings though I’m not 100% sure of the size needed. I save any fitting I can get my hands on when I replace a line on the common rail engines. There is a high failure rate on the return line from the from of the cylinder head to the filter stand on the MP8/D13, there is a new updated line and fitting available now. Sometime in 2022 they started putting the fuel pressure sensor back on the filter stand again. I’ll see if I can find the bulletin on adding it to a early common rail.
