This is normal, we get calls all the time on MP oil temps. And actually 250 is normal in the summer.

 

These topics are covered often..  A good practice is to search this site for related issues.  Thats how I found this one for you..  Jojo

2014???  where are you???  you had 73 views with no answers, then you get answers.... from a really smart and helpful BMT Member..  I expect that you will post more info about the issue and the solution..   We take great care in helping..  We also like updates, to know that it's fixed, and to respect those that take the time to post information... Sorry I meant to post the other day I’ve let it be truck isn’t over heating coolant temps run between 180 220 oil temp dosentcseem to go much passed or if at all past 250 oil temp been sitting around 245 so going by what you told me nothings wrong and it’s operating normal. I’ve been worried because I run with a couple guys with isx engines and they run at 220. I remember reading some where or when I was apprenticing that oil temp is usually 35 to 30 degrees more than coolant temp
