needle nose 66 Posted November 24, 2022 Share Posted November 24, 2022 so i’m thinking of putting a 5x4 transmission in an old school truck. I don’t know to much about the transmissions though. Can i pair any 5 speed spicer main box with any spicer 4 speed auxiliary or do i have to have certain main and auxiliary for it to work. mechohaulic Posted November 25, 2022 Share Posted November 25, 2022 how you pair it would greatly depend on how your going to use it. a show / play truck not as important. a daily used work truck needs to be much more specific. work truck the trans need to be compatible. can't have a wide range main coupled to a totally different aux.
