Andrew93 Posted May 29, 2022 Share Posted May 29, 2022 In our Fire Associations 1951 Mack 45A restoration project we are looking for 6 new tires, the ones on it are about 20 years old and dry rotted. The truck will hopefully be getting sent out for motor and drivetrain work int he fall and I would love to send it with new tires already on it. On another project I was involved with 7.0-20's seemed available through Firestone Classic, I could not seem to find these on there in non-military tread. 609albert Posted May 31, 2022 Share Posted May 31, 2022 I had 900 x20 on my Mack fire truck , almost 2 years ago I also wanted to get rid of the split rims ,I had one rim that I know was really rusted and dangerous ,(my truck is a 54 yr) I switched to Dayton rims and 1100x 22.5 radial tires (Chinese). what a difference in the ride.
