don't know if Mack did, but there are companies out there that converted them. Marmon Harrington is one. 

nu yawk city had a few they used in the landfills as lowboy tractors for pulling broken dozers off the workface back to the shops. 

they also had allison transmissions in them.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

I’ve never seen one but I’m sure they are out there since most of them were built for heavy haul and a lot of off road work.. I know of one out here DM 800 dump truck been sitting in the same area for 26 years that I know of looks like it’s in pretty good shape drives me crazy to see it just sitting should be in my yard lol Bob

now there's a question i never thought of . didn't know NY had any  . can't recall anyone on east coast having one. casey,hallamore,gerosa  etc always had the M's for big hauls. even those were big not 6x6.now it's got the brain cells going for a 1/25 scale build. past post showed a RD800 don't think it was 6x6.

You know now that I think about it those things were so hefty I am surprised a lot of them were not all wheel drive they actually look like they should be I have a model of one I bought 20 years ago and only finished maybe 1/3 of it the rest of it is still sitting in the box interested in finishing it one of these days ha ha .. did you ever finish the model? want to sell it. i have 3 DM 800's on the bench being built. one stretched for a 4th axle . bought a 359 pete model for the twin turbo cummins going into the 800.

Naaaaaaah man that thing  always gets back burner had around 21 years ….. but thanks for reminding me I’m off another 6 weeks due to slipping on the ice very little to do around here that doesn’t take a lotta grip and I’m supposed to be taking it easy finishing that thing would be perfect… Bob

Originally didn’t have directions I bought it opened and somebody started to put it together  models didn’t come with them 41 Chevy had  directions and he sent them to me around nine years ago still haven’t done hardly anything to it
