L model headlight buckets

We’re trying to troubleshoot an issue with the headlights on the old firetruck, only to find that the buckets are pretty rusted out. Could use some of the headlight cables too, the ones that run through the fender and up to the bucket. 
I can get pics of the buckets and wires if need be.
