steering wheel

Recommended Posts

The wheel you bought must be aftermarket and not genuine Mack. Ive never had a issue going Mack to Mack. Also never saw a adapter for a steering wheel. I could be wrong hopefully someone with some more info chimes in to help.

Bought a steering wheel for 87 R Mack off ebay with hub adapter but adapter fits but not quit right has anyone dealt with this.

There are two different spline counts requiring different adapters, (hubs) for the steering column which either bolt, or rivet into the steering wheel center itself. Mid 2001 there was a change to the spline count and a move to metric sizing.

Give VIP, (Vehicle Improvement Products) a call and they can help you: https://www.vipwheels.com/kit-configurator
