CaptainCrutch Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 Well as it turns out as soon as see get the mechanical fuel pump fixed the electric one at the back of the truck gives out... so we need a new one, does anyone know of any replacements for it, if provide more info but we’re on vacation right now and the shop just called us giving us the bad news... might be able to provide more information on Monday if it would help! HarryS Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 I'm not sure but the electric pump is probably an after market to assist at start up or help control vapor lock. CaptainCrutch Posted August 16, 2019 Author Share Posted August 16, 2019 It’s in the original wiring diagrams for the truck so I’m certain it’s a stock part but yes it is a backup pump, similar to how it has two ignition coils and 2 sets of spark plugs...
