Gord Josephson Posted September 17, 2017 Share Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) I have a glitch with my truck where I lose power and engine brake function. I have had the truck at two separate dealers and they cannot identify the problem. One possible reason could be something in the wiring harness. My electrical fault light will also be on on the dash while this is occurring. It clears itself up while driving sometimes and other times it will clear itself up by turning ignition on and off. Stickhauler Posted October 10, 2017 Share Posted October 10, 2017 I may have same issue. 05 E7 427 with 549k miles. Engine brake activates as normal but will not deactivate with switch, go pedal, or clutch. Pull over let engine idle with Jake switch off, all returns to normal.
