    I may have same issue. 05 E7 427 with 549k miles. Engine brake activates as normal but will not deactivate with switch, go pedal, or clutch. Pull over let engine idle with Jake switch off, all returns to normal. Have also had unexplained loss of power twice. Resembles loss of turbo. Pull over, idle good to go. ????
