tjc transport Posted July 30, 2016 Share Posted July 30, 2016 actually the reason for the transfer box, otherwise known as a "shuttle buggy" is to keep the paver full so it does not have to stop in between trucks due to lack of asphalt in the hopper. the stop/go action leaves a small ridge in the asphalt every time it stops/starts back moving 1 Quote when you are up to your armpits in alligators, it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..
