41chevy
1970 MACK M100SX 16V-71 Detroit Diesel and four axle 650 ton capacity trailer is in Far Rockaway section of Queens, NY. Got weeds growing around it and the flat tires the truck was fully operational but has been sitting there for eight or nine years. It was bought new as a heavy haul truck by Hoffman International of Belleville, NJ, then sold to Mashburn Rigging of TX and now owned by Pile Foundation Construction of Hicksville, NY. It was last used on a large project at nearby JFK airport hauling test weights. Protected by fences, guard dogs and Big Ole Mean Vito No Neck. Couple from the interweb Thadeus W photo of it at work with a heavier trailer unit at Kennedy Air Port. 1 Quote "OPERTUNITY IS MISSED BY MOST PEOPLE BECAUSE IT IS DRESSED IN OVERALLS AND LOOKS LIKE WORK" Thomas Edison “Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy shit, what a ride!’” P.T.CHESHIRE
