hicrop10 434 Posted March 6, 2016 I know right where that photo was taken. Can't imagine what JDM would be using a box truck for back then.My father had the first enclosed grease truck built back 1967-69 using a r model Mack.

philatruck 103 Posted March 7, 2016 Mike D, JDM could have been using back then as a general work truck, compared to nowadays seeing a construction company or utility company using a Ford F-550 with a enclosed utility body.
philatruck 103 Posted March 28, 2016 Mike D, take a look at this. Surprised it is not Red since you guys had red trucks. I might buy this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Conrad-1-50-Scale-Mack-Truck-Talbert-Lowboy-Trailer-Diecast-Replica-Model-3612-/121938515223?hash=item1c641a1517:g:ytwAAOSwJQdW-WJy

xdudebrahx 281 Posted June 8, 2016 Our 77 Canadian R tractor. Still sees a lot of use. When it's parked and I'm not busy I try to spruce it up a bit. I even have a visor to replace the one that blew off two winters ago lol

Joseph Moody Jr 72 Posted June 13, 2016 I thought I will pass along this information that I heard about upcoming DNC that being held in Philadelphia at end of July. Basic no truck over 5 ton will not be allow on Interstate 95 between Route 291 Platt Bridge and Interstate 676. Basic if going north the detour will Platt Bridge to 26 street to Interstate 76 to Interstate 676 to Interstate 95. If going southbound you will exit at Interstate 676 to Interstate 76 to 26 street to Platt to Interstate
philatruck 103 Posted June 14, 2016 That Mack Grapple Crane is looking good! I think I saw it loaded on Street Road a month or two ago. A video I found of some trucks working the blizzard of 2016. There is a AP DM800, and a couple of DM690s in it. The company that owns the silver DM's and RDs also has a steel noose RD600.

The company with the silver trucks is Petrongolo out of Jersey. Their stuff is kinda rough looking, but I see it often. Those AP tandems only seem to come out to plow. Those AP tandems only seem to come out to plow. Yea I know I see them often too, they mostly do utility work for the City of Philadelphia. Some of their newer Granites are better looking. I follow the local union heavy-highway construction industry quite a bit around here. It is quite cool to see one large family operate 3 separate construction companies including AP, JPC, and Petrongolo Contractors and all are very successful. AP has a lot of trucks, they have about 4-5 of those DM800s, and a Superliner but it is setup as attenuator truck. They used to have more DM800's, but when JPC spun-off from them they took at least one. I also noticed too that ABC Construction has been fixing up their fleet of lately. They junked several dump bodies on the RD's and put new steel ones on. The dump truck for hire service has really been booming around here.
xdudebrahx 281 Posted June 16, 2016 We finally got the go-ahead to set up our compound for the airport job we got and while I was taking some stuff in I saw this AP water truck. Earlier truck because it has those little beauty lines on the front fender.
xdudebrahx 281 Posted June 16, 2016 Then I had to go pick up a roller at Plasterer in Sellersville and saw the H&K superliner hydroseeder. I had to crop my pics down and they're all fuzzy now. Every time I try to upload a pic from my phone, it says the image is too large. This new site sucks.
xdudebrahx 281 Posted June 16, 2016 From last week when I had some downtime. Did some maintenance on my truck and polished out the 77 since no one else takes care of it. Poor ol dog
xdudebrahx 281 Posted July 19, 2016 Best I could do with pics, but I found a very small old Morrissey yard with a single screw B and a pre 73 R boom truck. Maybe Philatruck or another local guy might wanna go take a look. They're at Strahle and Hegerman.
