93 Mack rd688s tri axle dump. I mainly haul 22 tons on regular ( dirt, asphalt, millings ) my current trunnion is cracked everywhere, and needs to be replaced. My question is, is the stengel bros. underneath mounted after market replacement trunnion stand durable enough to do what I need? And what is the best tool to use for enlarging the bolt holes for the new hardware.

We have done a few of them on a fleet of rolloff trucks we work on, and had no problems with durability. We removed the old stands with a plasma and the new ones went up nice. Saved us from having to remove the hoist bodies and hydraulics. We Have a magnetic base drill we use on frames and pintles.

Is the new after market stand drilled for the frame or is blank? And can you get it not drilled?

They are drilled and never saw them shipped as blanks without holes.Although I imagine you could ask them to delete the holes. Paul
