Was it known as a good engine? Was it really "rare"? I know all the guys who drove this truck seemed to really like it;the only complaint I remember hearing was "that damned air assist steering",which most of the drivers just left shut off unless they were in the yard moving trailers around.

If there is someone wanting a A car , a guy called last week and tried to sell me one for $1,500. I never went to look at it, i have Enough things to get done in my lifetime, Its a early 80,s with a 350, Let me Know and i will pass the Numbers on

really nice truck Bulldogin I saw you at the racewaypark truck show I was with t Fiore demolition.all his trucks are brandy new and nice but toooooooooo quiet.He has a couple old macks sitting in the back of the yard,one is an R model with a steel hood and a butterfly hood,it used to be the lowbed truck.I asked the owner about it but he rather see it rot into the ground and turn into a rust bucket.Really nice Autocar though keep her kleen.
