mackniac Posted October 4, 2011 Share Posted October 4, 2011 Hello !I'm in the process of buying a Mack RD688S 1895E6 350 (sligh oil leak on the rear side of the motor( helper side ) but doesn't seems to leak too much . never been reworkedTXL1070BT 12 speed Mack trannyCRDPC92 front (rear axle)CRD93 rear (rear axle)700,000 km ( 438,000 miles )front axle 18krear axle 44kdump body in pretty good shapetruck body need a bit of TLC but it is still very good (at least to my knowledge) ,tires are very tired .frame is in a good shapesuspension is hendrickson walking beam with leafsanyone here as any comments or suggestions about this truck ?please feel free to chimne in .will be used sporadicaly thru the years but not like 7 days 24 hrs ,guy is asking 13kthank you for the help Quote Makniac , collector and customizer of die-cast model in 1/50th scale Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wastenafarmtrucking Posted November 10, 2011 Share Posted November 10, 2011 check the frame connector brackets in the front, the rear cab mounts and the front cab mounts. look real good to the left of the clutch pedal, back in the well by the door, the cab often cracks there.other than that welcome to the world of back aches, head aches and blood in your piss! your and rd owner!
