Bigfoot50 Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) I have found out that mid 80`s to 90`s superliner and cruiseliner with E9 engine`s ran a 12/24 start without the use of a series-parallal switch, there was a starter relay with a resistor in line. The alter was 12 24 and the batterys was connected in a 24 circuit to start and the alter had a 12 volt tap on it that all acc was powered from.
