steve s. Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 I am " restoring " a B 61S. I finally got the engine back in the frame, and next is the Quadruplex trans. The truck had no transmission in it when I got it. I remember hearing that it's best to leave one of the trans mounts off to get it in place. All 4 of my transmission mounts are off now. Never have removed the frame brackets and with the brackets removed from the trans case, it clears easily for removal.Rob Quote Plodding along with no job nor practical application for my existence, but still trying to fix what's broke.
