The truck im buying has the 711 in it and i was just wonderin how they are. It was rebuilt before it was parked so it should be tight. Is there anything i should do before i fire it up? lucerne tractor Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 END711 211 hp 602 lbs torque about the same specs as a early DT466 in the Internationals. Looks like the 711 is using cubic inch for power rather then a turbo like the DT. What year and model is it in? I would drain the fuel, change the fuel filter, drain and change the oil. Crank it over with the fuel shut off to pump oil through the engine. Look for mouse nests in any intake,exhaust. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just a play truck to pull a trailer everynow and then. They typically run pretty good and start good though?
