  1. I ran a 2110b in the RD behind a 460. Worst trans ever. Too high geared and the truck was a complete slug. My boss changed over to a T318 and the truck finally came to life. Also couldn't keep synchros in the 2110. Rob
  2. The welder put extra skins on the side panels. The bulkhead and gate are T1 but the floor and sides are not. Glenn Designs in Edison did the paint work. Yes he changed out to 12r 24.5's for the rear. The 315's on the front he is keeping they are 20 ply. They are actually more money than the 425 floats he usually runs. Pointed the tailgate too.
  3. Some pics of her lettered. Still have a bunch of little things to do but she is working. Rob
  4. Posted the pics of when Joe got her so here is the final product. Will be driving full time again and running the landscaping. Still gotta figure out the logistics. Rob
  5. Yep he was from western Jersey. The wide aluminum body with the big rears and 12r rubber on her. He was in my area in Mahwah om Rt 17. Rob
  6. Love the Richards cover on it. Rob
  7. I saw one of your old trucks you must of sold to a guy in Jersey. Still has your logo on the side of the hood. Rob
  8. I know he had an office in the Lodi yard. I would have to ask her.
  9. This was basically right next door next to the old Roy Rogers. My aunt was Roger Penske's personal secretary back in the day when he was there. Rob
  10. A little blurry Monday night in Montvale was driving the Granite. Rob
  11. Not my pic but me pulling up. Paving in Lodi Friday night. Rob
  12. I thought we had a thread already for backhoes so I guess I will start one. Rob
  13. Been trying to put out fires all season long.
  14. I also never had to worry about dumping on an angle with a Bristol Donald. The Canadian bodies especially on the tri's would make you a little nervous. Number 6 with a swinging load of top soil on I would drop the third axle and go easy.
  15. Joe it's a triple. Most Bristol Donalds are triple piston. This truck is a foot and a half longer than number 4 and Joe wanted to go back to 58's. The ride is better and the 52's have a tendency to wear out quicker. Truck is in Hewitt NJ now at the welder and then going to South Hackensack for paint. Rob
  16. Rented this a month ago to do a drainage job in Pearl River NY. Rob
  17. The ugly duckling. It will be a swan very shortly. This is replacing number 4. I did the last load with her Fri morning and she is off to Monmouth County NJ. Rob
