Pish, I’m not trying to stop him, I need him to save his steam for the Pressure Cooker bomb that BMT will become in late fall.
I’m concerned your going to block yourself into boredom. You’ve got Maxidyne blocked also and it’s not really fair that she be allowed to strafe me with her “as a matter of fact” crap-cannon while you sit happily enjoying the entire umbrella.
It’s been great since I blocked her. No more ding bat rhetoric. No more listening to her white man hating, anything but a vw gti or jd lawn tractor hating ways. If she really wanted to be part of a discussion I’d be up for a different opinion but she isn’t and that makes me uninterested. I truly enjoy visiting with bmt members on here about anything from rebuilding a starter to who makes the best corn flakes. Why let a couple bad apples ruin that for me?

You need to calm down, eat some of that Boo Berry cereal, and pace yourself. The burners on low and your already boiling over. October surprise is coming and you don't want to be in a straight jacket when it gets here.
Just wait for it. You’ll get a nasty pm from him I’m sure. I did when I called him out on calling cops pigs. So I blocked him. On another note Colin has a fantastic down to earth point of view and this is well worth the listen if you have time.

Anyone can arbitrarily decide that anything under the sun is derogatory. There is no end, unless the voice of reason is applied.
Your so very right KS. It’s a really scary upside down world out there. Right is no longer right and wrong is no longer wrong. Protesters think using violence is ok, the media pats them on the backs for “being brave”. Buzz words or phrases mean more than the actual context of something. I’m glad I live in nowhere MT.

Pro tip: Don't pick fights with the police and the probability of the police killing you shrinks to almost zero...and your skin color has nothing to do with it.
Last time she got on her high horse someone posted stats from the cdc and ya know what? Far more white people are killed by the police than black but then again don’t let the facts get in the way of the leftist agenda.

suspect states he purposely sought out white people to kill. If that’s not racism I don’t know what is. The difference between me and the left is I can recognize that isn’t the norm and all African Americans are not racist. It’s simply a lunatic that every American, republican or Democrat, Christian or atheist, male or female, gay or straight should condemn. But until we quit following the career politicians and the horse $h!t news outlets it will never happen. Can’t get elected or keep employed without keeping everyone upset at each other so they can be your “hero” and you vote or watch them no matter what.- 3

again no rioting, no looting, no senseless violence in the name of protesting. There’s a far more of these stories than the occasional (and very sad and needs to be taken seriously) bad apple cop.- 1

I’m with you Paul. We don’t have and never have had antenna or cable or satellite tv. At first because it was too expensive and now because you are bombarded with ads, agendas and the news is pretty much worthless. It’s about equal to the national enquirer in my opinion. Just flashy headlines to get you to look with absolutely no truth or facts behind it just feelings and party lines.

I’m just curious and not trying to be a troll but what do you mean it’s one of the first B75’s? From what I’ve read they went into production in 1955-1966. Again no offense intended I was just curious about that and figured there was something I likely didn’t know. Thanks.

Really it’s simple, just get on topics about Mack trucks. You and several others just don’t get it. Nobody making you get on these topics.
Or just don’t read any of the forums on here except antique Mack’s, and modern Mack’s. No one is forced to read odds and ends. If some want visit with others about odds and ends let them it’s really that simple.

While I don't agree with all of this member's thoughts, he/she has often spoken over the past with a great deal of intelligence.
I respect their knowledge. And, we can agree to disagree.
Traveling around the world interacting with people in every corner of the globe, contrary opinions gave me a more open-minded thought process.
I’m with you about being able to agree to disagree but there is a way to have a conversation and a way to try and start a fight. For instance I met this very sweet retired couple that was from out of state. I invited them to come sit by the campfire with us and have a night cap and visit. They were avid bird watchers and we were visiting about different types of birds I have seen in the area and giving them directions on places to go see them. The topic of neonicotinoids and it’s effect on birds came up. The wife was talking very passionately about some of the birds that are being wiped out because of it and then said we should ban all chemicals in farming. While I agree many of the chemicals that are used hurt a lot of things in our environment it’s not as easy as just not using any chemicals. We then had a really fun (no sarcasm intended) conversation about things we wished we could change and considering the flip side of doing it. Point being I’d guess they were leaning more liberal/democrats and I’m the opposite but when neither person is rude to each other or views them simply as a democrat or republican you can meet some awesome people and have a real conversation and see that you do agree on some things or even the same things.

Maxidyne sounds an awful lot like a certain banned TeamsterGrrrrl... Am I the only one to notice this?
And yet somehow she gets banned and then sweet talks her way back into bmt. Other than being a professional troll I dint see why she chooses to be in here. She hates any truck over 250hp, any truck that’s not a cab over from Europe, she hates anybody that doesn’t drive a teeny tiny vw gti, she hates anybody that does any work with anything bigger than her 18hp tractor. Just seems her entire purpose is to stir the pot and spread hate and disdain.

I’m sitting here as we speak waiting for a sheriff deputy to come escort (hopefully) two ladies from Washington who are off their flipping rockers. They yelled at my sister in-law her 4 month old and 7 year old for walking past their camp on a public road. We are on a government campground which is public. When my brother heard them yelling every profanity for walking past their camp he as well as the rest of us were in shock. Being the polite one he asked them what had they done wrong for such a response and it’s not ok to yell at his family like that. They then started screaming he’s a racist effing pig, they are filing rape charges, calling the fbi on us and screaming black lives matter and got real pissed when I said all lives matter. They then proceeded to stomp into our camp continuing on like that screaming every buzz word phrase and profane word at 3 families minding their own business in their camp sites and taking down plate numbers and threatening to give them out to black lives matter groups and Antifa so they can be avenged. I’m totally in shock. Can not believe that anyone would act like this truly unprovoked. I left the campground and my belongings there and contacted the sheriffs office and a deputy is trying to sort this out. I politely asked him if they didn’t leave if he’d stick around long enough for us to pack up and leave because I truly feel they are very dangerous. I feel like an idiot even saying that but this is honestly the first time I’ve ever been frightened for my families safety because of another human being.

May I ask, What is a Magabar Truck ???

Well it’s been pointed out on this forum before that Mack was rated at hp to the ground and the rest were at the flywheel. That’s the only reason that I know of.

For suspension, I initially plan to disassemble and clean up the leaf packs. Perhaps pull a few leaves, and see what I get. Not going to overthink it this summer! That just might be the long-term solution.
There’s also Teflon slippers (i think that’s what they’re called) that can be installed between your leaves which allow them to slide easier thus giving you a smoother ride.

Pretty soon we’ll be hiring illegals to do our police work too because no one will want it.
That’s already happening with truckers. Legal, English speaking people (doesn’t matter race, religion etc) myself included don’t want to have a cdl due to all of the Bs that comes along with it. So illegals who many unfortunately are cutting corners and rules making the situation even worse are the only ones willing to put up with all the stipulations it takes to have and keep up a cdl to be able to work for a decent employer. If I could find something with comparable pay and benefits that I liked doing that wasn’t a 3 month a year seasonal job I’d leave trucking immediately. I don’t mind the job itself but I don’t know if I can put up with another 20 or 30 years of this crap.

And we have Hutterites, and I’m on the fence about them. Can be decent enough but a large portion of them are not strict at all and have too much time on their hands (because there aren’t 100+ full time jobs on the colony to keep them busy) and become drunks, beggars and thieves. Also think they are bad for the local economy. Things only work one way for them. They buy nothing locally but expect locals to support them at farmers markets or buy beef and pigs from them. They also drive up land prices because it’s easy to save money when you have 100 men that work for $20/month stipend plus meals. Stuff em all in small apartments made from delta rib tin and supplies that certainly wasn’t bought local then collect all of the freebies that come with being a “destitute” person living on a religious tax exempt farm while blue collar workers pay for medical for everyone there. Don’t have any problem with someone else’s beliefs but I should have to pay to make up for them.

That’s one of the major downfalls that I see in the two party system. My team against yours mentality and I don’t care if my team is doing what’s right for everyone or not. The point is my team won.
