Even further back I bought a 55 Chevy convertible that wasn’t In too bad a shape at all totally restoreable took off the doors hood and the hood and trunk lid and scraped the rest only paid 35 bucks for that one …. Right now that same body style is almost extinct … … bob

  14. OK I finally found them through Kohl’s their dockers I remember of the style very common believe it or not Los Angeles city bus drivers were wearing them in the 80s mostly black guys they’re gorgeous and yes I am sure the man bun would fit the red Sneakers

Yes beat up freight truck why would anybody hang onto it I …I took an engine out of a perfectly straight 65 impala convertible And scrapped the car at the time it wasn’t worth anything and there was millions of them around everywhere nobody knew 50 years later it was going to be worth a fortune…. Yes that’s unfortunate a lot of us are too far away to go get them and some of us just don’t have the room or any place to put it most of us feel the same way hate to see anything just sitting there … but back to your story years ago I had thought of trying to find my pops U model he drove for bEacon fast freight he used to take me with him when I was 13 -14 But after moving to California that would probably be impossible to re-search or get it 3000 miles Bob

Yes I also looked up Knapp as well as Tom McCann both Sears and roebucks are the other two and walk out with the shoes now most everything has to be ordered I also used to wear the same style years ago when I was working in a gulf full service station But for quite a while I was buying them at Sears they were called sears diehard fabulous luck with them then they disappeared comfortable good looking good price though I got discontinued Just tried red wing no luck same shit haven’t get my size Now I’ll try the other one Thanks again for your input I’m thinking now I don’t have any choice but to go to black skater shoes
  22. Thanks for your input fellas I will check them out and yes that’s pretty much what they are are police shoes my company requires us to wear black shoes that’s most of the problem I can’t just go anywhere and I also have foot issues with sweat
