  1. Onyx- i can’t rule out fuel restriction…. probably need to get a gauge and long hose so I can tap fuel pump and rig it up in the windshield right? sledog
  2. JoJo- No codes…shuts down for second only…it does it in cruise as well…. grounds should be good but I’ll double check. I haven’t checked acc relay… sledog
  3. I have a 2007 Mack Granite with the AI-460 motor. It started to develop a slight miss so I changed both fuel filters. Didn’t notice much difference. now the motor will cut out completely for a second and come right back usually a couple times a day. It never seems to happen under heavy load and seems to pull fine on the hills. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. I got the center console cover removed. How do I get the blower motor assembly out?
  5. Trying to get at the blower motor. There are two screws behind the cup holder that are holding on the center console. How do I remove the cup holder?
  6. Just found CB and relay in box by coolant tank. Bad connection at relay socket. I always seem to forget about that panel! Thanks for quick response JoJo.
  7. I was able to see how these lights work on another truck. The lights are on with park/headlights and go out when “clearance “ switch on end of turn signal lever is depressed. Now I just have to know if there is a relay involved or if the problem is in the switch.
  8. Do the two outside lights on cab only come on when I press button on end of turn signal? I don’t see a switch for them on dash and they are not on when lights are on. which relay controls them ? Thanks
  9. Thanks tjc I ended up hooking a separate ground to tail lights and got it working ok. bad ground I guess.
  10. The “R” light on electronic display has decided to flash when turn signals are flashing. Any ideas on cause and what does “R” indicate?

  14. The previous owner of my granite cv713 had 385’s installed on the pusher axle. The tag on door calls for 425 tires. The reason was the bigger tires were dragging when off-road and causing problems like bending the stabilization shocks and also sometimes causing truck to get stuck . I think this causes airbags to extend beyond there workable length. Any thoughts.... thanks

  19. On the spin filters for this motor.... my dealer doesn’t have the plastic centrimax...are the metal Luberfiner filters ok to use?

  21. Thanks fjh.... I will work on those things and post what I find in this thread. I will definitely be hanging out with you guys since this is a great resource for me. I have no formal training but I’m all in for learning how to work on this beast called a dog!
  22. It was definitely a team effort and I’m very great full of the great help I received from everyone! This was a very positive experience for me and you guys really taught me a lot! This forum makes fixing my truck much easier and I’ll be back with more of my truck related problems!
