  1. Well I’ve had some good luck fixing my 07 granite on this site so here I go again… Blower works great but not much at defroster vents when called for. im taking console apart now and was wondering if there is a flapper or something that I need to check and how do I get to it…. Thanks Sledog
  2. I think we got it now guys! Been driving for four hours now with no hiccups. Starts better too. When truck was in shop for broken bell housing they found bad stud on starter so they replaced starter. After that they could not start truck. They changed 135 amp ground breaker. They also left ground wire to frame and motor disconnected and ran there own ground from battery to frame and cab. I put everything back to original per prints. Thanks to all who helped, and a special thanks to Joey Mack! I know you told me to check grounds in the beginning.
  3. I just got done taking grounds of and checking. Found a couple issues and wired grounds the way they are supposed to be. She starts fine and I need to work her and see what happens now I think.

  8. Joey I didn’t see your post until just now on the locating pin on the flywheel. They couldn’t have got that wrong then ….. sledog
  9. Joey They must have had the flywheel off because I had them put a new main seal on while they were in there since old one was leaking. so you are saying the flywheel was not indexed when they re-installed it possibly? This may be an issue I have to take up with shop then…. If it does need indexing I’ll call the shop and see if they actually did that or not. I don’t have that special socket to bar it over anyway… sledog
