There is still some stew in the pot. Just have to bring a spatula next time.

Yikes Hat! That could have tested the grapple on the Mack.

How about a picture of her NEXT to her truck?
What a tease.
Geeesh, you are killing us!

You will probably have to get with a truck dismantler (junk yard) so they can put a search on the part through their network.
-
Also, used on date nights and beer runs!

If the sign says Tijuana, you will want to turn around.
I assume the other two tires in the bed?

I understand there is a new section in the TK employee handbook on how to deal with BMT men because of what happened last year...

Great looking truck!
One Mack source book indicates 762 units were produced in 1937-38.
30,000 EH models were produced and only 50 ETX's were built so an EJ is relatively uncommon

In typical fashion, the seller wants to make a "good" buck on the item if they are selling it to a collector, but then scrap price is good enough if they don't get anyone interested.
Sounds like a typical Epay auction. "If no one buys it for the inflated "I want MUCHO GRANDE" for it, then I'll take a few bucks from the scrappers.
Agreed!
Someone wants 10K for something one minute but than are happy with scrap prices the next????
Just blows my mind! Just not rational thinking.

Good Pics!
Pretty sure you will have traction on the drives.

I don't like the symbolism of having a Volvo/Autocar tractor involved in the dispersal.
Not a good omen.

I have a friend that is toying with the idea of getting a 3d printer, the type used to print with metal are too expensive but the resin/plastic based printers aren't that bad and you can then use your plastic prototype to make the mold to pour metal pieces.
That's it exactly.
-
I don't get it either.
Why have a high price and no sale and then all of a sudden there is a rush to get rid of something for scrap pricing? Figure out what scrap price is and then add some margin and then sell it to someone that WANTS it!!!

Looks like the hood off to the left. Might be a state truck.
Could very well be Ken. There were several on the line and they all seemed to have the same specs and looked like they were destined to a DOT somewhere or maybe a large construction company.

I find the engineering, design and pre-production work done nowadays by 3D printers quite remarkable.
If I had the money for a 3D printer, it would be great to make little doodads such as B-75, B-81, Thermodyne emblems. When prices come down, it might be feasible for small runs.

I like R model truck exhaust stock but Winfall wimmin stacked!
