Well, let's Hope (what a strategy???) that this Obama promise is as good as some of his others.
900 billion will have to take a swing through congress and maybe the 2014 election will get some of the fools in DC out before his new scheme is presented.

I always shift my quadruplex just like a 13 speed triplex.
Looking at the ratios, there is no true progression to use LL other than getting out of a hole, mud, etc.
We will need some video of the stick mixing action sometime!

My B75 had one mounted between the fender and the fuel tank. Now has three spin on filters.

I looked through some of my Mack literature and Mack calls the TRQ-720 and TRQ-7210 a 20 spd trans. The B model operations manual then includes a ratio chart showing the TRQ-720 (20 spd) has 16 speeds that are available for practical use and the TRQ-7210 (20 spd) has 14 speeds for practical use.
Mack list the TRQ-770 and the TRQ-7220 as 18 spd overgear transmissions. There is a list of all the ratios with none deleted that are impractical, going backwards or super close. Following the progression of ratios in the chart, I get 14 speeds for the TRQ-7220 and 16 speeds for the TRQ-770. Understand this is my speculation and is not official Mack info. I was trying to find official Mack info on the gears that weren't practical for use.
In the BMT Wiki, there is a list of the quadbox ratios.

That is a good looking Mack. But a real one would have a big V on the front and double wings..
That's the truth!

The Suson is a killer picture!
It looks like it has the B53 type heavy front spokes.
Wonder what happened to the bulldog on the nose? Did the local kids scavenge it or did the company remove it?

Hey, at least they had a plan.

As with any old car or truck project, find the best for your budget. Unless you really want a project!!!
RUST is the thing that can kill a budget unless you are good at sheet metal and paint repair. If the engine sounds good and decent oil pres., it will probably run forever as a hobby truck. Brakes really aren't a budget buster even if it needs everything and is not an area where you want to cheap out.

where can I find the add?
It is posted in the Marketplace on the Big Macks main page in the Trucks For Sale category.
