  1. just a small sample of my collection. Love the small stuff as much as the big stuff. Most people aren't interested or done appreciate this kind of things, so every chance i get i like to show mine off.
  2. the radiator shell & head light panels are not the same on a dm as the rd , i found out the hard way, now i have a real good set of head light panels. so i fixed my dm ones.
  3. I have a dm 600, but i have run freightliner for 20 years , so i'm restoring this one.
  4. yes Ben they are flat glass, would show you a picture but i'm having trouble with my media.
  5. I am restoring a 79 freightliner flc 120. Doors are great but the vent windows not so great. Not having any luck finding any. Even asked local freightliner dealer about new, still no luck. CAN ANYBODY HELP?

  7. I thought i saw a post this afternoon asking for pictures of some of are diecast collections.when i came back on this evening i counldn't find it ? I went and took a few pictures of just a fraction of what i have.
  8. Well , my 2 cents on this subject. my hood ornant of choice is a bulldog , i have a 69 mack and a 79 freightliner , both built back when american workers took pride in there work ! Now it's just get it out the door and grad a paycheck and go. Whats wrong with this country, when are we going to wake up! Ok i vented , now on the muscle car subject. I have a 2010 dodge challenger , (american muscle car) made in canada , ha ha ha

  12. Yes good luck, in these trying times it is a gutsy move. I did it for 11 years and have no regrets. My grand father told me when i was having the same doubts, better to try and maybe not suceed, then to not try and never know! I have two trucks now, 69 dm mack and 79 long hood freightliner. I am now a hobby trucker , piece of advice, don't over spend, put away for rainy day break down. My two sents.
  13. I really wanted a B - Model but this truck was a real good deal. It's called free because we retired it off water detail, pryer to that it had a dump body for most of it's life.
  14. Hi guys & girls, I'm looking for a period correct driverside seat for my 69 dm mack. I know that an airide seat would be alot better but i dont plan on driving this truck on any marothons. thanks Jim
