    You know what, if you love trucks have a few bucks to start out and don't have a huge truck payment you will be fine. Don't think you will get rich unless you can sell some materials here and there. You will make a decent paycheck, sometime you won't get your check every week but you will. Just remember that sometimes it's cheaper to leave the truck parked than work for a shit head.try your hardest to stick to the rate which is 85 in Boston area not sure over there. Also if you are going to be a rental truck get 3 shoots and a barn door. Good luck man I hope you do we'll. post some pics of the rig.

    It's seems to be a good combo in that truck. The one time I drove it, there wasn't an complaints. I just like mack trannys, but love the purr under the hood. I wish you luck with it and can't wait to see it all done.

    I always wondered about the tranny in that, I was surprised to see a gross 8ll in it. She needs a mack 18 or a 12 speed. I'm glad it ended up in good hands it has a lot of history with my family. I always loved that truck and the Tijuana taxi which was #34.

    I think that truck was originally red. I think I pulled a dump trailer until chuck bought it. It's going to look great red and black, that's my favorite combo.

    Does anyone know if it was possible to get a quad box in an lj? My father and I were trying to figure this out today. I figured there may have been some Lj s in 55 with them just because?? Let me know your input

    Well, from what I know the years without the def system are terrible. You will put more miles driving to the dealer. The problem is the egr, the exhaust gasses are too hot so they burn everything. I know a few guys with them and they hate em, but the guys with the def system are having good luck.

    I'd love to know the number, a friend of mine took that for me. He said it was in very good condition, tight frame rails. He also said it had a 6 speed tranny, is rather have a 20 speed. Someone must know where it went?? Also I wouldn't mind getting some history on it jut for fun.
