i do have the cast elbows fromm the air to air and the alum, tubes for the straight hoses off on 85 mhv8
that is actually the update for bothe the RW and MH you want to sell em?, are there any p/ns on anything you have there? I gotta get something to get this thing to the show in a week and a half Im running out of time. the updated pipe arrngmt. is in figure 2 for an E9 do they look like this if so I can use em.
-
probably E6 then the E9 has a 4.5 in OD on the coupler 4.20 ID at the coupler end, the E6 is 3.5"ID on the connector hoses. from what my service bulletin says the MH and RW have the same piping arrangement and both used the same update, I wonder if ol man WIX would let me borrow one to get to the show and back? He might have some sitting in a corner of a shed somewhere.

NOPE I called and left my number Ill try agin in the morning I need a hose or this thing is just a freakin driveway decoration till later this winter when I got the cash for custom piping and straight hoses.

Some parts guys are pretty good at not checking to make sure you get the correct rods there are a few different lengths and yes one is longer than the other if you have the taper mount which it seems you do a come-along or small bottle jack is all you need to get the axle where it needs to be to get the bolts started. As far as alignment goes they are pretty much self aligning if you put all the correct washers and bolts in the correct places I dont actually think you can misalign it, unless your REALLY SMART! I have has the taper mounts get stuck in there and had to heat and beat to get them out then I thought about it for a minute and with one small 6 ton bottle jack and a couple 4x4's you can pop it right out using the frame as a push point(just dont get too greedy), I put pressure on it with the jack then smack the top of the taper hole with a brass BFH and it pops right out.ok. just found out the torque rod to the last axle is 4 inches shorter than the front rear axle. had to exchange one rod.
now that i have the proper rods, i was wanting to know if i should jack up the rear before i retorque everything back down. just for alignment reasons?
i was thinking of placing a jack under each trunnion saddle and raiseing the rear. what you think
thanks

Well Mack was wrong again that so called updated part was for an E6 truck it will fit inside my charge air lines so Im still screwed on the intake hose, any help would be awesome and supposedly the MH trucks have the same piping so the soft elbow coupler at the cooler from an RW or MH should work but I gotta have on from somewhere. Mack p/n 45MD331AM

I didnt know there were any working M75's left but that appeared to be one right there in them there pics.

I just got my cable off ad my drive is ok it was a broken cable end, I suggest putting the plastic end in the tach drive if your cable has the slip on end, if you use the metal end it will kill the tach drive but the plastic will break before the tach drive does if you have it, I am on my way to get a new cable and a couple plastic ends tomorrow, its the same one thats i your speedo sender. I can get you the tach drive number off mine if you still need it I cleaned it off today and the sticker is still there.

I tried several places all had Charge air hoses but they are all straight and only a few had 4.5" ID, I talked to a few people that make silicone 45 degree hoses and they are not rated for more than 20psi and I should make about 25 to 28 stock and more like 30 after I play a little. I got back with Watts today they called Mack and got a different p/n they said was an update but it does not cross in the computer the new p/n for the 45MD331AM is 45MD417M supposedly, Ill have it by noon tomorrow so well see. thanks for the replys I will be pissed if I have spent all this money and time to get this thing ready for the ATHS show in two weeks and not have a hose to get there.

Check this out..................

Oh sweet!!!! I tried to build my first model last night. Its HO scale, so small, I broke the rear end, I couldnt even get the wheels on because crap kept braking!!!! I think I would do fine if I worked with something bigger.
I have so many HO scale trucks it kinda silly, I have been in to Model Railroading since I was little and I have amassed quite the collection, I have some Superliner kits that use an R frame that I need to build one of these days too. I have so many toy trucks I might qualify as a horder to some people I have em everywhere(in boxes right now because of the move) Kitchen, living room, office, bedroom, garage, everywhere. I have a few of the Bruder Mack Granites I have been saving to do an R/C truck using the Tamiya King Hauler chassis and some other parts I just happen to have but its not happened yet, some day.

Here's a few pics of my Magnum model. There's alot of after market parts, kit bashing and scratch building involved here to to make a more correct superliner model. It's not perfect but it's damn close in my opinion.
Thanks, Josh
I have the E9 engine kit and the camelback rear suspension to make one of my AMT kits into the correct model, the front frame is something I have to get and the right cab/hood so it doesnt flare out around the cowl, that is sweet.

That is pretty awesome I hope to have my Superliner at Relay for life here this year pulling a step deck used for a stage, I used my CH a few years back I dont see too many trucks being used for things like that anymore too many people worried about liability and old dirty trucks nobody seems to care but Im all for it, nice pic.

I need an RW E9 intercooler connector hose in a bad way, the Mack p/n is45MD331AM, it is a 4.5" intercooler hose that makes about a 30 degree bend and is about 9.5" long on the back side, I have tried Mack they have 0 in stock anywhere and there are no aftermarket hoses available to fit it at this time any help is great. I will also be looking for the other hoses so I have them on hand the p/n's are 45MD 318BM and 45MD411M this truck takes on 318 one 411 and two 331's any body has em get back to me asap I am trying to get this thing to a show in two weeks and Im not going with this hose ripped nearly in two(had duck tape on it when I got it).
-
I wonder if those will fit, obviously the hood is longer since it has one, and the radiator and intercooler are mounted higher in the RW than the MH, Ill have to dig into that one. I may end up getting some 4.5" u bends and some straight and make my own charge pipes to take straight couplers but I wont get that done by the show on the 29th.

that r makes me think BCR with those hub caps, shutters and the tall breather pipe

I am in bad need of the charge air cooler hoses for my 85 RW613ST with an E9 the Mack p/n for the one thats got the giant hole is 45MD331AM this is a 4" 45 degree elbow charge cooler hose it goes on top at both the intake and turbo sides of the intercooler on a Superliner II with an E9. I need to get all of the hoses I guess but Mack says they are unobtainium right now with 0 on order in the system, the other 2 hose p/n's are 45MD411M thats the one off the turbo its more a 90 degree and 45MD318BM thats the one to the turbo. I have heard from fleetpride that one of their suppliers is going to have them but they have no time frame and I would really like to drive this truck SOON! I will buy em if you got em bonus cash for the whole set in good shape. I have attatched the exploded view and p/n's for other with these trucks, copy it and save it these things come in handy.

Jealous .... Now i need a super liner to go with my rs700l
there are several on Truck Paper and a few of them are great deals in my mind, no cheap V8 trucks though, I think if I get another one I am going for an E6/E7 so I can hot rod the hell out of it and if I burn it up I can actually afford to fix it.
http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=3781067&
I see major potential in this one if I hadnt just bought mine and a house I would go get it in a heart beat, theyre asking $11500 offer $10500 cash and drive it home. I am absolutely sure that if your old lady says it has to go you can clean it up paint the frame and more than double your money on that truck.

Yep, the shorter the trailer the harder it is to back.
I second that, I had a 22' dump trailer that gave me fits to learn and everytime I hooked to the 52' long lowboy then went back to the dump I screwed up and had to learn again, funniest was when me and a buddy just dropped my lowboy and got under our dump trailers then I lead us around town when we got to the crusher he was laughing his ass off about my wide turns said I missed the curb by 30 feet on a couple. and dont get me started on 20' container chassis, what a nightmare, on a sidenote they will make a Superliner on Camelback suspension do a wheely thru an intersection (had a load of marble and fifth wheel was all the way back to clear the landing gear)
