We normally have been switching trailers and mixers over from spokes to uni-mounts is  due to the cost of brake drums.    Drums for uni-mounts are sometimes half the cost of a drum for a spoke and the availability is much better.

I found an obituary for Mark Shuttleworth. He passed on in February of 2019.   The last post from Mark Shuttleworth stated that it was his son in law doing the posting for him, his name is Scott Hansen from Andover MN    Hope this info can help.

Mack’s are very tight and we joke that they are for real drivers, that anyone can drive a smash and grab fuller. Do what works you and the truck.

I don’t recall him being that much of a rabble rouser. 

It does, but the cable is in rough shape.   I wouldn’t want to trust it with too much weight. 

1975 It’s a non turbo engine with a 5 speed.  Air it up and give it a pull and it will run.    Originally a tractor.   Been thinking about selling it.  Dunno, too many trucks, not enough time. 

I was watching the auction, because that Pete being such a rare truck.    I didn’t for see either truck going so high.  

We are pouring a good trench footing tomorrow in the Heights, come on over and haul some mud.  

My MB could use a cab, but not for that $.   Haven’t even decided if we are going to keep it.   

They have lot numbers from Ritchie Bros on them.   someone got lucky at the auction!
