Are you just bragging your still flexible 😉
Don’t have to be to flexible to get the left switch over top of the dimmer switch on the floor. 😂

My brother just put a low rider seat in his, but he hasn’t gone anywhere. Personally, once I got on a good road for a stretch, I would put the seat to the floor left foot up over the dimmer switch and the right foot buried in the firewall.

We usually let run a day outside at high idle then bring back in and retorque the heads

Preach! Make it so that being a politician isn’t a full time job and shit will turn around. I also think that the pay should be the average salary of the district they represent, with no benefits. Make them responsible for there own health/ retirement plans.

We have a few Granites with over a Mil on the original motor. I credit it to luck and maybe our preventive Maintene program. We also have that barely made 800k before they shit the bed.

We have a set in a 94’ RD. She’s got some long legs.

Don’t get me wrong, I want the trucks to look good. I have interviewed guys that only “drive Pete’s”, then why did you come in? If a driver is only attracted to the job by a long hood and chrome, he’s not a guy I want to hire.

Dual breathers also. Just don’t get it. All the crap does not get my light weight where I want it.
-
He quit 2 years later and wasn’t big on washing or polishing, or even showing up to work on time. We still have the truck, it is the first AI motor that we converted back to a normal ETech. She’s a beast now.

I’m not a dual exhaust guy at all. So what happened was this. The guy getting this truck, his father in law was our salesman, so dad told him to the SIL pick out a fancy seat and stereo. Well the SIL wanted dual pipes, so they went with plain ass seats and stereo and took the power door locks and power windows off and added the dual exhaust so the truck wouldn’t cost more. I don’t believe in putting stuff on trucks that have no purpose and needs to be replaced over the years. Not to mention it’s in the way for getting up on the deck plate.

What kind of truck were they on in 1980?

Center point spindles use a totally vertical King Pin and the bearing spacing is different compared to a conventional axle/spindle.
We don’t have front brakes. Shouldn’t be an issue to leave the drums off?

Well I figure for a hobby truck they the wedges will be just fine. I have a set of 5 hole aluminum wheels that I feel will just look great on this truck. Out side of that it needs a starter solenoid, air leaks fixed, and general cleaning up. Should be a fun truck to run around with.

I’m real lucky on this one, has wedge brakes also

I've been deleting some 04-07 mack aset engines with block off plugs and plates.
Can I add resistors to the mass airflow and temp sensor to truck the system into thinking its within range to keep the light from coming on?
No experience here, but I have heard that resistors do the trick

We have some Pete’s and KW’s and I agree that an R model has more room. Pete guy tells me you have to have a sleeper so you put the seat further back
