Tom, they are not available new but as said in above posts they were used in B models and early R models. I will have to look but I might have a used one.

great pics. That lower plow fram mount is waffled on that b81!

Just add an alcohol evaporator and drain your tanks daily. That worked for many years and still does!

Like how the Conforti DM has the fabricated extentions filling in the area on each side of the radiator, i think ill make some up for my B81's
Those are factory to hide the piping for the front mount intercooler on V8 trucks.

I tell guys that a Mack transmission is for a driver that knows how to properly shift. Any one can smash and grab with a slop box Eaton/Fuller.-Brad
Well said! I agree 100%

Yes, without 24" it wouldn't be worth the 10K
Exactlly!

Great pics Bryan, and everyone else!

Camelback is the best on/off road suspension made, and combined with the mack power divider it will go places other trucks will not.

81 and 61 same mounts. same mounts for transmission too. Can still be had through your local Mack dealer

The cast 5 bolt pedistal, or elephant ears as we call them had three types that I am aware of. The smaller set like you have were for 44k and down suspensions. This is the set that went away with the introduction of the fabricated sets in R models. Then there was the 55k & later 58k sets that had a larger elephant ear bolt pattern with larger bolts around 3/4". Then there was the 60k/65K that used even larger elephant ear bolts that were like 15/16" or even 1". These were used on 80K rears too. The cast iron elephant ear pedistals are still in use today in 58k and 65k Camelback suspensions. ( my bolt sizes are a little blurry, they might even be a little bigger)

Post some pictures of that R700. I would love to see pictures of it. I am guessing that truck came from the USA and if so where?

We had an 86 rd with the base tan interior.

Dm 800 bumper is different, tow pin hole is on top of bumper not bottom like 81, and b81 uses 3 bumper bolts per side, and 800 uses 4 per side with grill guard bolt holes. The headlight buckets are the same as b81, they are the same as r model too.

nice, where did you get them?

I am looking for a new or used B model Mack Lund fiberglass sun visor. I am looking for the real deal Lund manufactured one and not the rounded imitation one available now. Let me know what you have. Thanks

That is insane. These regulations are out of hand.

Im guessing your b81 has a fa600 front axle, if that is the case I have a set of 22" spokes I would consider trading for your 24" spokes.

Fernel Trucking Freehold NJ. These R models were Glidered from mid seventies F786's. The R's were daycab tractors and had more wheelbase than most largecars's of the the day. If any of you guys have any more pics of this company please post them. (pic Dave Pearson)
