  1. Stop by Satriales Pork store-talk to Pauli Walnuts

Maybe those trucks are running, but are they making more than 40 hrs/week?

My opinion is it will take a while to get back to close to speed that we were at 2-3 years ago. Some companies AND people learned the hard way and will only build 2 or 3 homes and then build as they are sold.

Down here in Florida (warm weather) developers built by the hundreds and are still holding some. People got greedy and started living on the 70-80 hr paychecks. Now if they get 40 they are lucky. Bye bye to F-350 diesel dually, Hummer H2, 25 foot boats, and they are in foreclosure.

What you should look into is a "niche" trucking job. What type of truck don't they have and would it benefit you (and them) by having one.

BTW-get somethimg that can plow, you need it today

  2. Yup- can be loaded in many ways. Then set on scan, the pictures will change at a set time period(you can set). Or leave just one picture up.

We have one here and it messes you up when it changes picture and just catch it out the corner of your eye.

  3. been hearing a little chirping noise past few days, sounds like maybe a exhaust gasket leak. Talk to my mechanic, says it may actually be turbo starting to go. Since I've been running before daylite and shut down after dark, couldn't really tell. Day off today, go look, exhaust manifold cracked in center section (3 piece).

Call :mack1: dealer and get price and order manifold, gaskets, studs for turbo. "While your at it, whats the price on a turbo?" $2,400 WTF If they aint making money on selling new trucks, their making it on parts. Parts will be in Monday, looks like a fun job on Tuesday

End of rant for now Ed

  4. Welcome bulldog.

although you don't have alot of clout as you stated, by getting some feedback from the end-user can have a greater impact on all the processes that make :mack1: a :mack1: .

At meetings, why not ask some higher ups what the CUSTOMER has said, then state what you have learned. ot only on this forum, but check other trucking forums as well.

Yeah, it may bite you in the ass.

    Ed
