Do you need to swap the chassis mounting brackets to put Fuller in place of Mack or vice versa?
Just today looking my MH model frame (which should be similar to Suerliner) I noted those brackets the tranny housing seats on have only one rubber unsulator pad on each side of the truck. MH has Fuller 9 speed. On the other hand my R's with Mack T2090 have two pads on each side. Wonder what do MH/RW2 with Mack tranny have of them?
I was told Superliners and Mh have one bolt and R models have two. But the mounts on the trans are different between Mack and Fuller.

Why?
The reason WHY I'm thinking of doing it is you can get a fuller for about half the price of a Mack. I had a fuller in my ch and didn't have any problems.

The thinner more expensive black diamond quilt with the fake buttons came from a seller in Canada called upholsteryworld I like the fake leather shiner diamond quilt sold by showtimefabric its thicker and less expensive that's where I bought all the red material from too.
Thanks for the info.

I thought I saw somewhere the pilot bearing needed changed or snap ring taken off. Didn't know if that was true or not. If so what holds it in?

Besides bell housing and mounts does anything else need done when going from Mack trans to a Fuller?

http://www.perfectfit.com/15347/154532/Chipboard-Car-Panelboard/Kraft-Tan-Waterproof-Panelboard.html Heres where I bought the cardboard I got the diamond quilted vinyl came from two vendors on ebay. I took a back panel apart for a pattern and now I use it to trace out the new ones as I did with the door panels and headliners.
Thanks. I was going to have someone do my Superliner interior but maybe I'll give it a try. Would you happen to remember where the black quilted material came from? I looked on eBay and didn't see any like yours. Thanks

How about a picture of the whole truck.

Looking good. Is that your original cardboard material, if not where did you get it and also where did you get the diamond material?

Have you checked with Alumitank. They will make what you want. Not sure about the steps. I was going to check with them for a drivers side tank for my r model.Alumitank 800-652-6630. I know they make International tanks with built in steps.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I'll try the bed liner in the fenders and the lizard skin in the center section.

Im getting close to painting the hood for my Superliner and was wondering what would be good to spray on underside to keep from getting the star cracks in the paint from stones hitting it. Also maybe help deaden some engine noise. I still have some lizard skin left but i didn't know if it would hold up in the fenders.

MH cab fully dressed is heavy.i had a parts one and I could not fully lift the cad with the hoe on a Case 580 D was able to lift just enough to drag it off the chassis. I would guess probably 4000lbs for fun.
I cut this one off at the front hinges and wasn't sure I could lift it with my forklift. I was thinking around 4000 lbs. but when I took it to the dump it was only 2200.

Where's that landfill?Do you have anything left off that cab? I'm in interest for lower airbag brackets and some parts off the gear shifter.
Nothing left from the cab

I went on eBay and got an electric motor for $50 and I think I also got the shafts on eBay and went to Mack and got the arms. I think I had $250- 300 in it. I bought the kit from Watts for my Superliner for $750 at the time. If you check EBay you should be able to find all the pieces.

I had the pump rebuilt and turned up on my 250 and it might not be quite what my 350 was but I'm impressed with it.
