Yes, I'm out of terminal in Barkeyville

I drive for Ward trucking but a different one. Trucks are green but not as good as that one

I was talking to an Old Dominion driver the other day and told him I had a Superliner and he said he saw a blue triaxle run around Erie last summer but it didn't sound like it ran very well. I told him I think I new the truck and it was a v8 and there is no better sounding truck. And looks very good.

strange how we all have a different way of doing the job for the same out come
Stole the Princess old deep fryer many years ago and its just got gear oil in it to gently heat the bearings and the I use the freezer to shrink thinks and its amazing what then just drops together with out using a hammer at all
PaulI've tried the heat and freezer thing a few times and never had much luck, still had to use the hammer. Maybe heat wasn't hot enough and freezer not cold enough.

If changing oil in a lawn mower is above a persons skill level they probably shouldn't be using one.

No luck finding it. I'm thinking it might have been cracked or already welded and I probably got tired of walking around it and it went for scrap.

I had one on mine and I changed it to air ride. Not sure if I still have it or not. I'll look this weekend but I can't remember seeing it lately.

Yep, it’s on the southbound side, just south of Rte 136 and the Red Caboose.
If it's the place I'm thinking of they use to to have a nice looking Superliner

OD, do you remember where the signs were in Rostraver? I was thinking along the river on Rte 136 or 906 but the Terex has me thinking possibly Rte 51.
I'm thinking on 51

sure wish i had been at that sale
I had them listed on here and locally and had no interest. Wanted rid of everything so it either went to sale or for scrap

I just took 8 alum wheels and tires to an auction and only got $50 for all

That's what I was thinking. Why can't they make music like now. What they call country now used to be what I called rock and i can't stand it.

Your pretty good. 427, 5 and 2 and 33,000. it didn't look that good when he got it. it was an old township truck. we replaced doors, fenders and hood. He had a new bed built a few years back. It even has a little Mack in it. The gas tank was one i took off my Superliner, had it cut down to fit. He always kept it washed and wouldn't take it out once it snowed.

Yes still use it. Dad used to haul this guy a load or two every year. He wants another load this weekend.

Thanks it was my dads baby. He passed away in March. I haul a little gravel once in awhile in his memory.

If you are really going to make it nice take the hood and assorted parts to the local chrome guy and have them stripped then redone or if you have a good polish guy get that done. The hood piece is aluminum new like $999.00.
If you need a two stack cut out sleeper with new vents and floor I got one for sale for what I got in pm and I will send you pictures. I was going to put on my 1978 but decided I couldn't cut the hole in the cab
What size bunk do you have?
-
I had that problem with my Ch it was the vent in the fuel cap. Loosened cap and checked later and they were evened out

Agreed....we just wanted a better sleeper environment for our guys living in the trucks weekly. I get to drive around in a bunked out Superdog. I get It, its an attention getter but 13 hrs in a small cab gets to you after a bit and after years of doing it. I enjoy a run in one of our Pinnacles and my poor wife whacks her head on the cab roof exiting the bunk almost every time...lol. For the record I loath taking the Volvo out.
It's just me but I'd rather spend 20 hrs a day in an r model or Superliner than 5 hrs in anything new out there.

The black and white Internationals were Team transport. They had a yard right off 79 and the turnpike

We got 1 new International and 1 Mack not to long ago. I hate to say it but I would almost rather drive the 07 International I'm running than the newer Macks I've run here. The ones we have have the 55 gallon drum muffler on them you can't see around when blind siding it and it seems like the mirrors leave a big blind spot when at intersections.
